Gramegna Packaging

The beginning

Gramegna was the first company in Italy in the 1960s to build angular sealers (from a patent purchased in the USA).
Ever since the beginning these machines were supplied with the sealing bar cooling device as they have a small tank provided separately and they could work with either PVC (the only shiny material on the market at the time) as well as with polyethylene.
Today, there are still many machines of the time on the market with this sealing conception that continue to work effortlessly even with technical films created in recent years.
Over time several manual - semi-automatic versions of different sizes were designed, both compact (sealer with a tunnel in a single frame) and separate ones (sealer + modular tunnels).
These machines were sold in Italy and abroad, particularly in France and Belgium.

The advent of sleeve wrappers

With the success achieved by the angular sealers, in 1970 the first sleeve wrappers were designed, starting with the basic manual model and then completing the range with semi-automatic and automatic models, with 90° and in-line feeding.
In order to fulfil the various packaging needs, the range of complete lines was completed with the chance of packaging products with film only, with film plus a flap and with film plus trays.
In 1985 the automatic lines were produced to launch film without a sealing bar, thereby increasing the productivity of these plants up to 30 packs per minute.

Today

Minipack Torre has been a market leader in angular sealers and packaging systems since 1969. It acquired the celebrated Gramegna brand and a new Gramegna production department was opened in Dalmine at the Minipack-Torre headquarters.
The objective of the investment made was to launch and promote the Gramegna brand at an international level.
Now the history of Gramegna is ready to continue with our and your talent, if you want to join us in challenging the market.
You have this opportunity: you can purchase directly from the manufacturer, with a renowned brand that for over half a century has been operating on the heat-shrinking machinery market and is well known for the high quality and reliability of its machines.
This is happening with technology and components of 2015!
